Following are case studies of some of the organisations and initiatives which have received grants under the Trusts' Education initiative:

Anveshi Research Centre for Women's Studies, Hyderabad, has put together a collection of stories - a project that commenced in November 2005, supported by a grant from the Trust under its publication initiative, Parag
   
The School Resource Centre was established by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, under its University School Resource Network, in order to institutionalise the intervention in the school
   
Kalike Samruddhi Upakram has evolved as a significant sub-component under the Trusts' Elementary Education portfolio
 
The Shikshan MITTRA programme aims at equipping tribal boys and girls with information and skills in appropriate, eco-friendly agricultural technology, health, social awareness and environment, in order to make education relevant for life outside school

The Trusts have supported Muskaan, a non- profit based in Bhopal, for supporting children's education, and setting up a study centre for children beyond the ambit of mainstream education system

A transformation in the alphabet recognition skills of many a six year old has been brought about through the Early Literacy Project (ELP), which is working with classes I, II and III within select MCD-run schools in southwest Delhi
