This report presents a comprehensive review of the information available in India on the incidence, distribution and patterns of Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs), the interventional attempts made nationally and internationally to cope with this increasing incidence of RTAs and attempts to identify the gaps in research and information on RTAs.

Buoyed by the success of the first edition of ‘Ocean in a Drop’, a training programme which seeks to encourage facilitators, educators, HR / training professionals and individuals working with the youth, Pravah (a partner of the Trusts in their Youth and Civil Society initiative) invites nominations from you / your organisation / the Trusts’ partner organisations for the next two iterations. The programmes are scheduled from March 12 - 17, 2012 and June 18 - 23, 2012, respectively.

For any change to happen, awareness of mental health has to first begin with each one of us. "Mental Health - I need to know" is an information campaign started by the Mental Health Initiative which is supported by the Trusts. It aims to raise awareness on mental health and as part of this campaign, offers a downloadable e-calendar for the year 2012
