The Trusts have collaborated with the Indian
Foundation for the Arts (IFA), Bangalore
in supporting the project titled “Theatre
in Education - 2006-09” to Puppet House
(Gombemane), Dharwar in May, 2007.
As part of this project, Puppet House has
been doing theatre training for nine months
every year with children, as well as with
the future teachers who are receiving training
as diplomas in education (DEd), with a view
to strengthening arts pedagogies in elementary
education in northern Karnataka. In March
- April, 2009 Puppet House has conducted
three weeks of children's theatre workshop
with 20 children in Dharwar culminating
in a drama performance by these students.
