Activities within
the grant and expected impact:
The project aims to create a structured,
interlinked and focused youth development
programme within Vidya Poshak that:
|

Identifies
and inducts economically disadvantaged
students for financial and other support.
4,600 such students will be reached
during this phase |
|
|
Creates,
and sustains the volunteer base, and
transforms rural and urban volunteers
into youth facilitators and leaders
for social change. 300 volunteers will
manage at least 50 per cent of the process
besides enrolment as youth facilitators.
100 campus ambassadors will be created,
of which 25 per cent are expected to
take development as a career choice

Creates
youth centres for young people to meet,
share and learn about development related
issues |
Vidya Poshak (VP) is engaging youth through
spaces like camps, colleges, and libraries.
It facilitates their self-development, as
well as transformation into agents of change
for society.
An independent impact assessment of the
programme will be undertaken, as against
the following indicators developed, at the
end of the project period:
