Activities within the grant and expected impact:
Bel-Air Hospital located in the hill station of Panchgani, in Satara district of Maharashtra, was one of the premier TB sanatoriums of the country. This piece of medical history of the country over time has transformed into both TB and HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support centre apart from addressing the health of the people in the surrounding areas. The support to the hospital allows for renovation of five building blocks of the historic structure to regain lost splendour while improving patient treatment facilities.
