Activities within the grant and expected impact:
The Trusts are supporting two components within Jehangir Hospital’s expansion programme, namely:
Trauma Centre and Outreach Programme
Expansion of research facility

The in-house trauma centre would consist of:
A four-bedded intensive care unit (ICU), equipped with a ventilator, monitors and a defibrillator
An emergency theatre
Diagnostic facilities

The three Outreach Satellite Trauma Centres would be equipped with:
Diagnostic facilities
ICU
Operation theatre

Upgradation of research facilities would encompass:
Laboratory facilities
A two-bedded ICU setup
Beds for 20 trial patients
